DECATUR, Ill. – When Brandilyn Wegmann transferred to 鶹Լ University, she expected to focus on one thing: becoming a teacher.
Instead, she found a campus community that helped shape her as a leader, mentor, teammate, and future educator.
A native of Maroa, Ill., Wegmann began her college journey at Richland Community College during the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic. After earning her associate degree in early childhood education, she transferred to 鶹Լ and quickly immersed herself in the School of Education.
