He was raised in Illinois and graduated from high school in Evergreen Park, IL in 1964. He continued his education at DePaul Law School, ΒιΆΉΤΌΕΔ University and Middle Tennessee State University where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Randy began his working career for Continental Casualty Company in Chicago, IL and Reading, PA from 1969 to 1975. He then went on to work for Kemper Insurance Company in Long Grove, IL until 1979. Over Labor Day weekend in 1979, while camping on the Chippewa Flowage Randy found his dream business and purchased Jenks Bait and Tackle in 1980.
