Campus Conduct Hotline

Lawful, Ethical, and Respectful Behavior

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ University is committed to being an institution characterized by lawful, ethical, and respectful treatment of its students, employees and community. For this reason, we have long encouraged members of the University to make any concerns known to the University. Indeed, whether these concerns relate to discrimination, harassment, campus safety and confidential crime reporting, legal violations or ethical concerns, the doors of university administrators, supervisors, and Human Resources are always open.

Occasionally, an individual may have a concern that he or she would like to express anonymously. For these occasions, Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ University participates in a service called the Campus Conduct Hotline (CCH). It is designed to enable the campus community to anonymously express concerns about possible violations of university educational and employment policies as articulated in the employee and student handbooks. The Campus Conduct Hotline system is available for your use around the clock, seven days a week. Because the CCH is operated by an independent organization, any calls made through the CCH are completely confidential.

Using this reporting service is easy. If you have a question or concern about a possible violation of our policies or the law, I encourage you to express your concerns to Human Resources, Student Development, your supervisor, or any other appropriate university administrator. However, if you do not feel comfortable doing so, you can report via the CCH web portal at . A reporter can confidentially report any issue by opening the CCH electronic form and entering details describing the situation. Reports may remain anonymous or have the option of providing their name and/or email address.

Or, if you prefer, simply dial (866) 943-5787 toll-free and report your concern anonymously to the Campus Conduct Hotline. Once you have dialed the toll-free number, here is how the reporting and follow-up processes will work:

  • A friendly, trained specialist will greet your call and guide you through the details of your concern.
  • You will be given a case number for your reference, so your call will be completely anonymous. (Be sure to write this number down for future reference). It is optional to identify yourself or to provide contact information.
  • Your concerns will be submitted to the campus administration for investigation – typically the Chief Human Resources Officer or the Vice President for Student Affairs.
  • Using your case number, you can call the Hotline at any time to check on the status of the investigation and learn of any actions that have been taken.

Because of the built-in confidentiality, it is important that you try to be as specific as possible about the information you provide. For example, the name of the department or individual that you are calling about will be needed.

To repeat, at no time is a caller required to identify him/herself and all information provided can be completely confidential.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of behavior in our workplace. If you have general questions about how the Campus Conduct Hotline works, please do not hesitate to contact Human Resources directly at 217.362.6416.
