DECATUR, Ill. – The is offering a diverse lineup of Spring 2026 programs designed to engage youth, teens, and adults through music, movement, and collaborative learning. Hosted by Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ University, the academy’s programs emphasize artistic growth, creativity, and community connection.

Amplify
Amplify is a comprehensive popular music program for students interested in performing and learning about contemporary styles such as rock and pop. The program provides hands-on, collaborative experience with other young musicians from the Decatur area, guided by experienced performers and instructors.

Decatur Youth Chorale
The Decatur Youth Chorale offers a welcoming, creative environment for young singers to develop musicianship while building confidence and friendships. Directed by Melissa Miller, the program goes beyond traditional choral singing by incorporating drumming, movement, and acting into rehearsals.

Drums Alive
Drums Alive is a high-energy program that combines music, movement, and rhythm into a full-body experience. Using fitness balls, drumsticks, and upbeat music, participants engage in a fun and accessible activity that promotes wellness and creativity.

Group Piano Class
The Community Group Piano Class is designed for adult beginners seeking to develop music-reading skills and foundational piano technique in a supportive group setting. The class emphasizes steady progress in a relaxed environment.

Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Community Cello Choir
The Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Community Cello Choir brings together cellists of all ages to build ensemble skills and advance individual musicianship in a collaborative, relaxed atmosphere.
